Root new to Android, rooting questions...

hello all, i'm new to the forum and new to Android. i stumbled upon this forum when looking for detailed specs on my phone. i have the Huwawei Ascend 2 from U.S. Cellular.

i guess my main question is, what can i gain by rooting this phone?

my biggest problem is the bloat ware, the speed, and the lack of memory for apps. i've read that rooting can help with all of this, is this true?

any help would be greatly appreciated

if you are actually looking for detailed specs on your phone, you can always take a trip to your devices forum here:

rooting can help remove bloatware, however the lack of memory is something rooting cannot fix, speed, cannot be fixed either, that is done with roms/overclocking
rooting just allows you to do those things.
