New to android

Hi all, I just got my first phone that has an operating system on it, its the Galaxy Y. The only thing I have found is that its easy to get onto the net and web pages actually show like pages on the computer.
I am disapointed with it in the sence that there is no backup system with it so I can backup to my computer. There is NO user manual with it either and that is a bit stupid. I have been told how to back things up with connecting to the computer and moving things over.
Early days yet but in my eyes its a phone that is very low down on my must have list now. I wish I had done some homework on it first. I guess that I will be posting a lot.
