Root New to Forum, Need Wifi Tether help. Please?

Hey, I'm new to forums and i really need help with my Samsung Galaxy Epic 4g touch. I had it rooted before and had wifi tether working perfectly for what I needed. But then i unrooted it to update it and then rooted it back on gingerbread.FC09 and installed wifi tether again and it doesn't work anymore. It shows up but it doesn't connect fully. It keeps saying its a DNS error whenever i try to connect to Xbox Live or my laptop. Any help please?

Wifi tether may have to be reconfigured to your device. Try checking in the settings area to set your "Device-Profile" to the "Samsung Epic Touch 4G". Also check that your "Prefered DNS" is set to something. Try 8.8.8.8 (Google's DNS server). You can also set the alternate to 8.8.4.4 (Google's alternate DNS server).

You can also try some of the other/older builds of Wifi Tether. Have you tried FoxFi? That worked 100% on my GS2 rooted and unrooted with my Asus Transformer and iPad.
