New to Galaxy line: S6 Edge+ app drawer?

Hi all. I'm considering jumping ship to Samsung. One thing that destroyed considering the S7 Edge for me was the bizarre app drawer with obnoxious folders and not being sorted alphabetically. Just wondering if the latest software version on the S6 Edge+ is the same way?

I'm almost positive you can sort the apps alphabetically on any Samsung phone,almost certain the option was there on my S7 Edge.
I can't say with 100% certainty,as I slapped Apex Launcher on the phone after about 5 minutes with the stock U/I.........

Yes, you can sort alphabetically, however, you need to choose to re-sort your apps each time you download or uninstall an app.
Some apps may automatically be assigned to the folders (Google/Samsung specific folders come to mind).
Have you tried to move any of these apps out of the folders with any success?

I haven't actually gone ahead with the purchase yet. I love the phone but this would be a definite deal breaker for me so I want to be sure. Don't see the point in it if I'm not going to run TouchWiz. When you say you have to reorganize after adding or uninstalling an app - do you mean via a prompt (all at once) or moving each app at separately? Definitely interested to hear about the folder situation. Any chance you're willing to switch back launchers temporarily and try it? Thanks.
