New to smartphones, and here

Heya!

First off, call me Kaf. It makes things easy.

I'm probably a rare technophile who hasn't dipped any toes in the unjacked communications side of things. Until 2 weeks ago that is when I ordered my Droid Razr Maxx from Verizon.

So this is all a bit new to me, though I'm not a complete Android naif, as I've owned a Kindle Fire since November. (Okay, for some of you that last bit probably still labels me a noob.)
