Help New update doesn't mute Facebook messenger sounds

So I have my phone on sound for priority only and Facebook messenger still makes a sound when I receive a message. I've checked and it's not in the priority list. Anyone else having this problem or know how to fix?

I rarely ever used any mute or priority settings but I could guess that maybe you have to go into the facebook Messenger app itself and turn it off that way.
