New update icons??

Does anyone know what this sign is in top right corner(check the screenshot).after updating android it popped up and only stays while connected to 4g.

is it a sync icon? try turning sync off and see if it goes away...if sync is off then it must be something else...not sure what though

I tried to search online and some people saying it's voice over LTE but not sure. It's really weird icon.

hmm, i just tried volte and i dont see that icon...i tried wifi calling too for the heck of it and still dont see it...did you check to see if sync is enabled? i know my sync icon is circular but maybe its different on your phone?

No the sync is off and I think it's something new feature comes with new Android version 5.1.1. I also saw the icon on Samsung s5. I'm sure people will know soon and someone in YouTube may make a video about it.Just have to wait.

ah ok...well i have 5.1.1 but im using an lg not a samsung...
