You can get Nougat 7.1 for the K3 Note with a custom ROM apparently. However it might not be entirely bug-free...

Suggest you browse the XDA Dev forums to see if there's been any more development since.

Lenovo only updated it to Marshmallow 6.0.1 AFAIK, and is very unlikely to go beyond that.

First you have to root it the u can install miui 9, linage is 7.1 etc by https://www.needrom.com/category/lenovo/serial-k/k-50/
