New User - Q: Contact Transfer

Hello everyone,

I have just got a HTC Tattoo on contract. Great phone but i am having trouble transfering the contacts from my Blackberry 8520 to the Tattoo. They will pair with each other but will not connect. I have also tried connecting it to a Nokia 2323 but having no joy.
Can anyone help pleeeese!

I haven't used a Blackberry; can it export contacts into the format used by Windows? Or Gmail even? The Tattoo will automatically import your Gmail contacts when you provide your login info, or anything stored in Windows Contacts can sync into your Tattoo via the HTC sync software.

Failing that, you could try checking the marketplace I suppose. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

I presume you're using Bluetooth to do this. Well unfortunately Bluetooth doesn't work on this handset for anything other than a headset it seems.

The only thing I can suggest it to synch your Blackberry to Outlook to transfer the contacts, then synch your Tattoo to Outlook.
