new user - question about mobile hot spot

I have had my droid bionic since the first of December and I love it! I am spending a month in sunny Arizona. Would love to use the mobile hotspot; but, since I am retired, I do not want/need to enter a monthly contract. Verizon is my wireless. Is there any way to purchase the time for a set period of time. I would use the wifi for my laptop. I write a newsletter and also news articles for local organizations in Arkansas so I need this capability.

Hello and welcome to the forum. Unfortunately, other than having a monthly contract with your carrier - I don't know of any other way. Sorry!
