New version of our Galaxy Ace

Hey GrahamF, I read about it earlier on digital spy. It sounds good but I'm sticking the original SGA I still got 18 months left on my contract!!

Very interesting. I'm most interested in the thinness :P
Well I won't be getting this phone. As soon as my contract ends in september, I think I'll be getting the iPhone 5.

very typical of samsung though...
Galaxy = Ace / Y / W / S
Tocco - Tocco Ultra
Ace - Ace Plus
Star - Star II
S - S II
and so on ... :)

Looks nice on paper but a lot depends on the pricing recently Motorola introduced the Defy+ in India & priced it about 4k above the older ver Defy which was still available in online stores. The online buzz (in forums) was 'don't waste your money' on the new ver for a souped up cpu + few other 'improvements'. The same could happen to Ace too if Samsung dos not price it right

or the 4SS.

I definitely will be moving away from the Ace maybe to an iPhone. Having only had mine a few months I find certain aspect just too annoying.

URGH! Why are more and more hardware devices coming in shiny/glossy finishes?
within a minute of taking it out the box, the device looks grubby as hell and never looks new again, unless you happen to walk around with a micro fibre cloth in your hand all the time, polishing it after every use.

I don't think I will bother with it myself or any other Android device as long as I am on the 3 network with all their broken promises over firmware updates.
