New York Subway line maps for offline use?

So simple but impossible to find. Looking for an app that has not just the overall NYC subway map, but the individual line maps for each train. Thought I had it in "NYC Bus and Subway Maps" with the yellow and blue "NYC" logo, but their line maps are online and un-usable underground. My old tired Pam Pre Plus had just the thing. Can't find it's equivalent for Android. Anyone?

You know there are actually two now, the one i use is called NYC Bus & Subway Maps

They used to work with the NYCMate people but the devs dont work together anymore for some reason.

Since there are two now, which one did you guys prefer? I just installed the NYCMate one and I like the integration with the subway (Nextrain) and bus times (Busarrival).

One of the map layers in the new 5.7.0 release of Google Maps shows transit lines, and there's a Google Labs app for offline map download/caching; these may give you what you're looking for.

Just downloaded NYCMate today and it looks promising. My only issue was that is changed some of the icons for some of my other apps to the stock Android default app icon.
