how to enable or get swype? is it built in or do i need to download it?

also are there any apps that will manage my ringer for me? on my blackberry i had program that would set phone to ring/vibrate/silent based on time anything like that on andriod?

Swype is a beta app and is not found in the market, there are various versions leaked out on the net. This is the one I'm currently using:
