Newbie extreme

Hello, of course I'm new here because everything to do with electronics frustrates the living hell out of me!!! I have no patience for this stuff!!!
I'm about to try and SYNC my new 2011F150 with my new GalaxySII 4G and if it doesn't work - well - one of them is going to get "booted".
Why does it have to be this way???!!!
