Just picked up an Sprint HTC Hero from my bro-in-law to use as a WiFi toy. (You know that story, so I won't bore you)
Hope to learn a lot here. My dad has had a Thunderbolt for about a year and a half now, so I'm not completely dumb to Android, but I've been having some issues off the bat with the Hero. There's another thread started for that over in the Hero section though.
I'm hoping once I get things straightened out with the Hero, I can really start playing around with it.
