Newbie iTunes Media on Android Question

I'm giving some strong contemplation to moving away from the iPhone to an S3 but as I use a Mac I still want to be able to use all of the media that I have in iTunes on the Android phone.

I've tested with an older phone and know that I can mount the phone as a disk on the Mac and drag and drap tracks, videos etc. on to it (I have nothing that is DRM protected) and was able to play music using an app I downloaded from play.google.com but was not able to find anything to play video. I suspect that much of this may have been due to the phone I was trying it on (Ideos X3) but would like some recommendations from 'droid users on what apps they would recommend for playing the iTunes content on an S3 - assuming of course that there isn't something preinstalled that would suit this requirement.

If nothing is DRM protected, just drag and drop and there won't be any problem. Then you have media apps that sync to iTunes like DoubleTwist.

Thanks for that, so the built in apps will handle the audio and video files without the need for any additional software?
