My wife has had enough of her Transform freezing, not being able to answer calls, etc and has said that it is OK for me to root and flash the phone. Problem is, I've never rooted/flashed a phone and all the Rom/kernel choices are confusing. This is something I would like to do once and let her use it rather than flahsing the Rom du jour. I need a recommendation for a ROM that meets the following parameters:
1) stable design, rock solid (minimal or no FC's)
2) allows smooth operation, no freezing
3) increased speed of the phone (stability wins over speed)
4) increased battery life
5) everything works(wifi,gps,BT,camera,flash)
6) removes Sprint bloatware
7) Stock like appearance (no fancy wallpapers, animations, etc)
-Gingerbread type theme, keyboard would be fine along with a numerical battery indicator
