Hello

Quite excited to have received my new ezcast this morning and very proud, for an old duffer dummy to have set it up ok. Well I think I did ? My main reason for purchasing it is to mirror my new Acer Liquid e3 phone, to watch football on my Samsung Smart TV, but I have a problem. When I select EZMIRROR the screen on my tv goes to pictures of a butterfly on flower etc, which I assume is correct ? I read the note about if the connection fails above twice etc. My phone screen has the button which states ON, which if pressed disconnects the wifi. Now where do I go from here please ? If I go into phone settings, display with wireless on it says no nereby wireless displays were found and if I press search for displays it goes blank. It did find the ezcast once and has failed since. If I check my phone wifi its says EXCastrt9BA28DBB connected. On my TV upper right the EZMirror screen shows phone connected to EZcast to world globe. So I cant understand whats wrong.

Can someone please help, its doing my head in and as the man said your only suppose to blow the bloody doors off lol

Hello jstvj and welcome to Android Forums. You are into some exciting technology that I've yet to explore. It sounds like your devices have married so I'm not certain what might be up. It's likely a setting or such.. or not holding your mouth right. :) I am kidding. I betting we have the members with the knowledge to get you going however. Here are some links that to areas where help should be found:
Android TV - Android Forums
Acer Liquid E3 - Android Forums

I would suggest asking for help in the android tv area. Have fun and thanks for joining this community.

Many thanks for your reply. I will try the tv forum, thank you. By the way sorry i should have introduced myself only in this section and used another forum for my question.

You are fine. If you hadn't stated your problem, I would have had no idea how to direct you to a source of assistance. Have fun and again, thanks for joining.
