News App that works with the Screen Saver

I used to have the Google News And Weather App as the screen saver for my always on display. But that app is no longer being supported. Google says to use the News app, android ringtones but it doesn't show up on the list of available apps in the list. Flipboard, which I have, does show up on the list. It works, but I don't really like the way it works with the screen saver.
I'd love suggestions for a replacement.
