"next" button doesn't work when trying to set up email

I have a LG L55C. I am trying to set up email...I put in user name and password and then should click "next" but when I do it does nothing...the button for some reason will not work. I have tried restarting the phone but that doesn't do anything to fix it. I don't know what else to do...there is also a "manual" button to set it up manually and that doesn't do anything either.
