Next Nexus Tablet?

Hi Guys

I wonder if the new tablet (HTC Nexus) will be released. The Nexus is now almost a year old (November 2014) and some adjustments would be welcome. This thread is to answer two questions: release date and desired changes of a the next Nexus.

1. Releasedate:
?

2. Changes:
- Thinner / lighter Tablet
- USB C
- Fingerprint scanner
- Higher ratio display / frame
- Better camera

Due to problems getting "error" while installing stock 5.1, I will not be buying HTC again.

My initial joy has massively waned (buying a phablet went a long way towards that though)

It still bugs me that the LED has never been activated.

Anyway, I'd request a better screen & battery (and a fully functional LED)

Agreed, but Google hasn't done anything to fix the problem either. So the advantage of going Nexus is no longer there for me.
