Help Nexus 10 still on 4.2 with no OTA available

Hi,

My wife's nexus 10 died and was replaced with a refurbished one about six months ago. This came with Android 4.2 loaded.

Whenever I try to check for updates, it does not find any OTA updates available.

I have performed a factory reset, and this has made no difference. How do I get this upgraded to KitKat, or even Lollipop?

In case this helps anyone else in the same situation, it would appear that the refurbished device had been loaded with a developers version of the OS. I have now installed the Android SDK and followed the steps here: https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images to restore Android 5.0.1
