I think that kinda says it all: tying yourself to a phone for two years that you feel is (relatively) inferior now .. just doesn't make sense .. to me: YMMV
Mind you, at this stage, I think I'd be holding out for the Nexus 5 announcement
The Xperia T is already a year old phone, so the updates from Sony will take even longer to come through as the months go on. By the time your 2 year contract is up I would be pulling my hair out at not having an up to date OS. While the Nexus 4 is also a year old, its a Nexus device that will receive speedy updates direct from Google.
If you get tired of the stock feel of any Android device you can simply install a custom launcher and play around with the skins.
While the Nexus 4 would cost more initially, you'd only be paying
I know, but I know 3, and I know what works where, and that can be bought immediately, whereas I would have to wait for the nexus 4... And I am worried about my nexus 7 becoming redundant to me with a really good phone... And it pains me to say that I actually really like the Xperia T. It looks awesome, and TimeScape adds some really nice features.
