Hi Guys,
I dropped my Nexus 5 from around 1 meter height and it wouldn't switch on after it. When it is charging I see the battery charging symbol - after I switch on (when charging) Google logo comes and switches off or doesnt go forward. I dont get even the Google logo when it is not charging.
There arent any visible damages anywhere.
I dont know if I have broken the screen or something inside..
Has anybody else experienced this before? Any guidance would be helpful.
Sid

could be a faulty power button.

As soon as the Google logo disappears, press the power button again to turn the phone on. Might have to give it a couple of tries.

The power button on my phone is faulty and i have to turn it like that. Not ideal, but I hardly turn my phone off anyway.

Happened to me yesterday night. It fell from about 5 ft. Seemed fine. Hours later it turned off by itself and wouldn't turn on. I got the boot loop when it was plugged to the charger. I smacked it a few times on its side and got it to turn on for a bit, but then it shut down. Ended up messing up the power when smacking it and now it's finished. I had to order a new one. =\

Like mentioned above, it could be the power button.
