Nexus 5 - WiFi broken

Hi all,
I've searched through multiple threads across sites, yet I haven't figured out a solution.
The problem is that my wifi is stuck in turning on. Tried updating to 6.0.1
Rooted and renamed /persist/wifi to xwifi, that deleted the /wifi directory completely now,I guess.
My MAC address is set to 02:00:00:00:00:00 and the BT address isn't available.
Can anyone has the steps that has already fixed this issue?
I'm in love with this mobile and I can't use mobile data all the time.
Cheers,

If you renamed, or corrupted and deleted the essential system WiFi directories, files, drivers, or whatever it is, that's very likely why it doesn't work now. You'll need to reflash the whole Nexus 5 firmware I think.
