Nexus 5X - Notification Light

Can anyone confirm if the Nexus 5X will have a notification light at the bottom of the phone like the Nexus 5 does? Looking at the pictures I cannot seem to see one.

I really like this feature and would be sad to see it go from the Nexus 5X if this is the case.

the feature list lists it it's probably behind the speaker grill or something

There is a notification light but it's turned off by default. There's an option somewhere in Setting to enable it. I think the idea is that the new low-power notifications that come on when you lift the phone mean the light is unnecessary. I turned it on anyway.

The notification
light works fine but I could wish it pulsed a bit more rapidly. There doesn't seem to be a control for the rate of pulse. It is exceedingly bright though.

Download Light Flow or Light Manager, then you can control everything you could ever want to with your LED.

Just noticed it this morning. Not sure what it was pulsing for. It was bright light blue. Gone now. Must have dismissed whatever it pulsed for. The light is behind the bottom grill.

Yes! Just installed Light Manager and whaddya know, coloured led, I think I'm falling in love with my phone! Do you think the X in 5X is a kiss?
