Help Nexus 7 DLNA video stream issues

richot

Lurker
As the thread title says, I'm trying to stream Standard definition video from my laptop to my nexus 7 through my home wireless network, however I get frequent pauses and slowdowns through out the play back. I use my Sony led TV DLNA and it has no issue what so ever streaming the same. I have tried a couple android apps like BubbleUpNp and UPNPlayer with MX video player and always has the issue.

Anyone having the same issue or have an explanation?
My WiFi connection is full and my Next 7 apps running are low.

Cheers

Another app you could try is Plex, it may not be any better, but its worth a try, you need to install the server app on the laptop as well though, but Plex works well on my N7.

i just use es file explorer to access my laptop, and use mx player or bsplayer to play the video files, never had a problem. My laptop is connected with a wire to my modem though
tried plex, but did not like it
