Help Nexus 7 Notification Bar

So, I bought the subject phone and am having trouble seeing the text on the Notification bar (old eyes I guess). I'm also a neophyt Androidist.

Question: Is there an app out there that would allow me to edit it to make it a bit bigger? I have Notifaction Toggle which is nice but doesn't seem to offer this option anywhere.

I'm not aware of anything that would make the notification bar bigger. I'm rooted and have run quite a few ROMs and haven't even noticed anything on any of those that would do that either.

The Paranoid Android ROM has the ability of increasing the status bar and navigation bar size. I use my Nexus 7 as a car stereo so I need everything big... easy to read, easy to touch, while driving.
