Nexus One Dock Available now...where though?

Select 'get your phone' and it's at the bottom of the screen, under the Vodafone coming soon bit.

Not sure it's worth the $30 shipping though to the UK.

LOL. You beat me to it. My sentiments exactly. It would've been fine if that fee had been applicable when I ordered my N1. If the dock was available I could've cut the shipping cost.
Oh well.

I ordered the dock and I am assuming from what I read that it does not have a speaker, what speaker/speakers would you guys recommend? Bluetooth/Wired? I am guessing that for a alarm the speaker on the N1 would work find but I want to stream music.

Now where is the damn car dock...

Google need to hurry up and sell these in country and not ship from the US.

It's actually a bit disappointing, was really hoping for a landscape desktop dock... most the photos taken with my phone are of *actual* landscape near where I live so using it for a slideshow won't have the best results. Although thinking about it, I've never had an urge to play my photos in a slideshow, so perhaps not too big a loss ;)

No sync, no buy. I'm wondering why they decided to not enable syncing. Perhaps it's because the phone charges very slowly over USB so it runs through the power outlet instead.

What's up with it being in portrait mode? That makes automatic switching to the Clock application sort of weird. It looks more functional, even if it isn't, in landscape. More importantly, it looks more like a Clock.

Its price is pretty ridiculous. I don't think an aux jack and bluetooth connectivity warrant a $50 USB jack stand. That said, I would probably buy it if it allowed me to sync as it charged.

a problem i see with this dock is that its probably a tight fit. i have a silicon case on my phone and i was not planning on taking the phone out of the case. but to use the dock you probably have to. i dont really want to have to take off the case every time i use the dock and then have to put it back on when i am done. as much as i wanted this dock, ill keep waiting till something better comes along.

can someone let me know if it will fit with the case when they get it. please.

edit- scratch that. i have my own answer by looking at the pdf owners manual. i would indeed have to take off the case because it uses the gold posts at the bottom, not the micro usb port. and the posts at the bottom are covered by the case. this sucks!

Would quite like one though don't think it is worth the ship from US cost....should have been available when ordering the phone

The Webshare app will allow you to sync over wifi. Way more convenient than a cable, and you can keep your dock by your bed where Google seem to think it should be!

I agree it's ridiculous only to have accessories available from the US. Te phone itself I can understand, but to pay another 67% of the product price again on delivery is prohibitive. I'd like to think they'll become available elsewhere in time.

In the meantime group buy to the UK anyone?
