I thought the same thing when I looked it up on eBay. It makes no sense to me. If the profit margin weren't so slim, if any at all after PayPal and eBay fees, I'd buy one just to resell.

when you have 33% taxes on imported phones you get this prices,
for my country this price is cheap, private stores here selling N1 for 1000$.
