*** The screen has no scratches whatsoever. There are two minute nicks on the edges and the soft extended battery back cover have a few scratches. The stock battery back cover is in better shape with just some wear.
I also have a spare VZW Blackberry 9630. The screen is perfectly fine, the edges have some nicks here and there. $50? I have no idea what this goes for nowadays.
