Nexus S or Galaxy Nexus

So this is it. I've for sure narrowed it down to these two. I am just so un decided on which I should choose. I'm buying them used on ebay and plan on using it on a prepaid carrier that runs on sprints network. I won't be using data other than wifi, so the LTE doesn't matter to me.
I can get the nexus s for
85$- 9/10 condition, ebay
galaxy nexus
140$- 9/10 ebay
Should I spend the extra 60 bucks for the gnex? I really don't know. I would t probably prefer the form factor of the nexus s, since i'm mostly used to holding an iphone 3gs.
But yet i am drawn to the galaxy because it will get further official updates while the nexus s is stuck on jellybean, not that jellybean is bad or anything though. I know It will probably get roms and what not, But i would rather not get into that.
What do you think, I don't care about LTE, kind of worried about the 4.65 screen size, yet want future updates, and kind of tight on cash.
What should I choose??

This is like asking which would you prefer, an iPhone 3GS or an iPhone 4S? Basically, those are the generation equivalents of those phones. In the same way that the iPhone 3GS is unable to keep up with most of the current games and apps and peformance, the Nexus S is also showing it's age. The Galaxy Nexus is still a decent usable phone, like the 4S.
