Ok, I did a search but didn't find anything.
Credit goes to XDA forum.
This app will work on the N1. I'm using the latest on (unrooted) and it works great (video is a bit choppy) but beggars can't be choosers.

It said the same thing for me. I downloaded anyway and used Astro to install. Works great on my Hero! Thanks to the OP!

only complaint is that the video is grainy
