NHS Covid 19 app

Is anyone else having trouble getting the NHS app to work? I've got a Pixel 2XL running android 11 so it should work but it's saying another app may be stopping it or there is a restriction in my settings. I just can't work it out and would be grateful for advice!

I don't know. I use it only at a coffee shop chain and turn on and off Bluetooth there. I don't use Bluetooth otherwise except when using someone's car.
Is it a Bluetooth conflict.
Does it load and request if over 16, and the 1st part of a postcode?

Can you post a screenshot of what the app is saying? Have you Notifications turned off or DND on (just guessing)

When does it say there's a conflict?

Do you get the Agree to Exposure Notifications screen, the explanation, you agree and then Bluetooth comes on and it starts scanning.

I reinstalled it on my Motorola with Android 9, and it works fine also on my Nokia on Android 10.

Weird that it doesn't tell you what you need to do, but then nothing surprises me in 2020.

There are only reports of test result upload failures. The first answered review on the Play Store gives a typed link to an faq and answers page.

Sorry, don't know what else.

Just a thought, do you have Wechat installed? Because that's got Covid-19 track and tracing, although it's only supposed to be active for China AFAIK.

I can't try the NHS app myself of course.

There's also a few NHS, as well as other track and trace apps - but it sounds you have the right one.

It installed OK on my Android7 Oukitel Mix2, but won't talk to bluetooth, maybe something to do with the Mediatek Helio P25 SOC?
