Recently, some Pokemon Go players had reportedly obtained the game's first legendary Pokemon.
In actuality, these Pokemon had not been released yet and this happened because of a glitch. Niantic has fixed this bug as well as removed the legendary Pokemon from the player's game "to preserve the game's integrity and as a measure of fairness."
