So having taken all the credit for destroying the UK's partnership with other European countries, the leader of the UK Independence Party (UKIP) announces that he's stepping down as leader of the party.
But why then, must he remain a member of the European parliament? You know, that place in Brussels where he has an appalling record of turning up for very few debates. Surely now the UK has idiotically voted for Brexit, there's little need for us to be represented in this arena by UKIP, who have accomplished their mission.
