My HTC Desire HD does not seem to being working on 3G. I had it unlocked from orange so that I could put the 3 sim into it. I now cannot get onto the interest or pick up my email.
Did you make sure that you set up your APN correctly? To get to your APN settings (this is phone dependent but it should be close to this) select Settings, then select the More... that is listed under Data Usage. Next select Mobile Networks, then select Access Points. You need to make sure that the information is set correctly for Three Network. If you do not have any Three Network access points available, create a new one with these settings:
Name – 3 Internet
APN - three.co.uk
Proxy, Port, Username, Password & Server - Please leave blank
MMSC - http://mms.um.three.co.uk:10021/mmsc
MMS PROXY - mms.three.co.uk
MMS Port - 8799
MCC - 234
MNC - 15
Authentication type - None
APN type - Internet & MMS (If no selection available , leave blank )
Sorry to hear that this might help:
"After unlocking a device and switching carriers some times the new carrier does not fully support the phone. this may result in no data/internet, little to no coverage in some areas and no sms/mms."
As far as fixing that.... Try switching back to your original carrier or use wifi (If your phone supports it) for your internet. Sorry...
Editing the Apns Might work too.
