Help No 3G signal with TPG (Australia)

Hi All,
Took delivery of my Nexus 5 a few weeks ago. Had to get a replacement sim card because the card in my Galaxy S2 was to big. Anyway with the new card I cant get any 3G. I have been on to TPG and they have made a few suggestions and sent me the settings for the phone but still only the 'H' on the notification bar.
Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas?

I may be mistaken, but isn't 'H' a higher speed 3G?

HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packet Access) is faster than 3G yes.

H stands for HSPA/HSPA+, which is a 3G connection technology. So when it says H, you are getting 3G, and you should be seeing 3G speeds. If you run a speedtest app or something like that to check, you can see if you're getting what would be considered normal 3G download and upload speeds.
