No 4g service.

For about the past week I have not had any 4G service anywhere I have been in my town on my Moto X, only 3G. This is the only article I could find that seemed like it might be the cause. Anyone else experience anything like this?

I haven't called Verizon about it yet because to be honest it's not a big deal to me right now. Just curious if anyone else has had any issues with 4G lately.

I dropped to 3G once and have talked to two others who have dropped to 3G for longer periods.

Have you powered off/powered on? I found (as did they_ that it was the only way to return to LTE.

My searching didn't turn up anything recent, but I did find two more articles from the same time as the one you found. I would call and see if it's specific to your area.

Powering off and on did the trick. Never had that happen before with any of my phones. Thanks.

That's typical of Verizon phones. It has to do with how the phone authenticates on Verizon's network.

My 4G quit working. I did resets (no hard reset), battery pulls, nothing worked. I took it to VZW store, they replaced my SIM card. That fixed it.

I am out of Cedar Rapids and LTE is virtually unusable from 9am to 6pm...

It is very frustrating....
