Help No app logo/name after moving to SD card

Hi everyone,

I have a Moto E 2nd gen running 5.0.2 not rooted with Cricket as the provider.

I have a San Disk 32GB micro SD card. When I go to settings > apps and move apps to my SD card, the logo changes to the generic Android logo and the name changes to something like com.mozilla.firefox instead of Firefox. Here is a screenshot:

The apps appear normal on the home screen. It is annoying when I click a link and am given an option of which app to use to open it, since it displays like the above screen shot.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Those are the actual names of the app packages.

It's been a while since I used a device which supported moving apps to SD (and am a little surprised that the Moto E does, given that Moto were owned by Google when this one was made), but I don't recall it doing that. Do they do this immediately when you move them (seems to be the implication of your post), and is it the same after a reboot?

Yes, it happens right after I move it and it's the same after a reboot. Weird!
