no "call wait" beep with incoming call

so I'm on a call, another call comes in, the screen illuminates to let me know there is another call but there is no audible beep to advise you of the call wait... without the beep, unless I'm in a dark room, I miss incoming calls all the time.

do you guys get the beep, is there a way to turn it on and off?

I got a call today while on another call, there was quite a loud beep every few seconds for me. It was my mom so I ignored it*

I just double check just now and volume is up both for the ringer and in-call volume... I get the on screen notice but no beep. I am going to call t-mo and see if it could be something they need to reset.

OK so I figured it out and I'm not happy with the answer... The incall volume has to be above the lowest setting in order for there to be a "beep"... I find the in call volume to be very usable in nearly all situations on the lowest level... I guess on the lowest level the call wait beep is disabled... So I am left with the option of louder than wanted volume or no caller id beep... sorry but that sucks.
