Help No Dictionary

I have a Galaxy A tablet. There doesn't seem to have a dictionary. Fortunatly I went to school back when you had to actually know how to spell.

But I'm getting tired of not having the type ahead function. How can I get it reinstalled?

What is the default keyboard?
Clear its cache....

Try a different keyboard. I usually recommend GBoard or Swiftkey, both have good dictionaries and type ahead prediction.
