Hi all, I know the X10i isnt the latest or best phone around but Ive just got hold of one, I decided to update it to 2.3, since I have I no longer have earpiece volume, have to answer & tap on "Speaker", can anyone tell me if there is a fix for this?

If the problem occurred immediately after updating then I would advise running the update again. It will likely tell you that you have the latest version but there will be a "repair" option that will reload the firmware.

on Android 1.6, you could hit the button on the Sony headphones in order to answer an incoming call. They changed it after 2.1....you can no longer do it

You should still be able to use the volume buttons on the side of the phone to turn the volume up or down....if you don't, you should do what the other guy suggested and reflash/repair it.

In order to answer a call now you have to swipe the screen to unlock and then click Answer to answer the call...I have not experimented with any apps that might change this....but I bet you can't change that without rooting the phone....if it is changable.
