No green bubble notification on handcent

I have recently upgraded handcent and now when I have unread messages they only appear at the top of the screen there is no green bubble with number of unread messages on the icon on home screen. Does anyone know why?

No longer a handcent user, but have you checked out your settings? Restarted the phone?

Check the following...

Handcent > Menu > Settings > Custom style > Skin > try selecting IPhone or IPhone new.

If that fails, go back to Bubble settings > Conversation style > and select IPhone.

Have tried switching phone off but doesn't make any difference.

IT'S not the bubbles in the conversation I mean it is the notification green circle on the handcent icon on the phones home screen .....

To get the count on the home screen icon, you have to add it as a widget. If you use a standard shortcut icon, you won't get the unread count indicator.
