No ICS ever for Tab 10.1 GT-P7510 Official

I've seen nothing to support that claim. On the 19th, several articles came out confirming that the updates will start in July and no mention of cancelling the p7510. I think the rep you spoke with had no idea what he was talking about.
Please don't make broad claims that something is official because one rep said it. Until Samsung makes a public announcement, nothing is official. Not trying to be a jerk, just saying one phone rep doesn't speak for the entire company.

I sincerely hope your right, can younsend me the links you refer to that state otherwise to my post? and are they from Samsung or just from third partys who may or may not know whats going on?
As you mention above not to make broad claims because of one rep,, I actually got him to check with his superior who said the same thing and he also said he would check further after I told him about statements on the internet that claim there will be ICS and he did come back to me later saying this was not the case! !!
If you can send me the links Iwill take it up with him again and post back on here.

My guess is that it is based on the mobile carriers timing which is why I believe the Wi-Fi only devices are going to start off in July. I read that in a number of articles, so we'll see. At least we don't have long to wait now!!

Yep.
I'm a pretty patient guy, so waiting for the update isn't that bad.
But after reading about the improvements that ICS is supposed to bring, even I'm getting
a bit impatient.
I've had my 10.1 since March, and love the thing.
I was going to get an Amazon Kindle Fire for my wife, thought she might have fun with it.
So, I went to Best Buy, to buy the Kindle, but after browsing all the different tablets,
I bought the 10.1 instead. Glad I did.
Got it home, and while it was charging, I installed a wireless access point for it.
My home network is all hard wired, so I needed the WAP for the tablet.
Got that done, and when the Tab was finished charging, I fired it up.
All went well, and we started to learn this new gadget.
It didn't take long for me to see that this was gonna be fun.
So, the next day I bought another one for me, and we've both been enjoying the
heck out of them ever since
And speaking of waiting, I also have a Logitech Revue Google TV box, and we went through the same long wait for HC 3.2.

After my experience with Samsung's support of their existing products, I'm not thrilled at the prospect of purchasing more of their devices in the future. I am disappointed in them now.

It is the same for all manufacturers. Motorola owners complain about Motorola, Samsung owners complain about Samsung.
I think people just do not look at this whole update thing from the right perspective and have no idea how long it takes to prepare updates like this.

Well the Motorola Xoom just got Jelly Bean, and we are still waiting for ICS? I understand that the Xoom was a stock Android device (which hurts even more with the Verizon Galaxy Nexus not on JB yet), but we aren't talking ICS vs JB, this is Honeycomb vs JB.

Yet, Motorola Razr has not received ICS yet and it is a flagship device.

Confirmed, it showed up on my wife's Razr on VZW about 3 weeks ago.

Or maybe you did not know there was a Motorola Razr in Europe and rest of the world, while ONLY VZW uses the DROID RAZR moniker?

So far so good, few changes but need to have a good look really. I have ICS on my SGSII so am used to the changes.

For those with a P7510 who are experienced and know how to flash their own ROM and don't want to wait for an OTA (which could be weeks away til they drop one for your particular region) and don't mind using the one from the UK region , you can find it at

Banned is a relative term with the way this trial is going.
Even the most untech savvy person knows the difference between Apple products and someone else. It just sounds like an Apple markfest.
