No internet connection on my Samsung Galaxy PLEASE HELP

A Samsung Galaxy Android on contract with 3 Mobile & have unlimited everything including internet - It just says "Cannot connect to Internet. Please check your internet connection settings and try again"

Wi-Fi is switched OFF, I have never used it in the time I've had it (a year)

Mobile AP is switched OFF - I have no idea what it is

Data Network is switched OFF - I have no idea what that is

Network Mode is ticked on GSM/WCDMA (auto mode)

Data Roaming switched ON

Any suggestions?? Thankyou.

Hi and welcome. Not to be rude, but have you read your users manual or at least the getting started portion? I would like to suggest you review the manual so that you are aware of your devices functions and capabilities.

Also, please visit the forum for you device here on Android Forums, you'll learn a lot.

Last, please turn WiFi and Data Network to ON.

Data Network is your internet connection. You can't connect to internet with that turned off.

Mobile AP is your built in hotspot app. It turns your phone into a WiFi hotspot.

Turn off Data Roaming. That will cost you additional charges if you go overseas.
 
My solution: Fire up a mobile hotspot and connect and confirm it works. Shutdown hotspot and pad will switch to wifi router and asks for password. Enter password and all is sweetness and light!
