no internet connection

my samsung tablet and phone find the dlink connecttion but i can't hook to the internet. With my laptop I'm connected to dlink all the time and then sign in to my internet provider. How do I get my other devices signed in?

It sounds like your dlink may be set up as a modem and not as a router.

It may have connected to your laptop and handed it the lone IP address it will hand off. When its set as a modem it doesn't do any kind of network routing. It looks for one device to hand off an IP address.

Check the settings of your dlink and see if that is what is going on. You may need to call your ISP for support as well.
