No Media Player can't play MP4 movies.

Hi There,
I am a newbie..I have a Zenithink 10.2" Android 2.2 FROYO ZT 180 512MB RAM 4gb HD Tablet PC.
Please doe's any one know there I can get some thing like Media Player for Android 2.2 with the codec's
I have been converting some of me movies to MP4 to play on my Tablet PC.
But it does not have a built in Media Player So i cannot play them..
I have tried installing some video player apps that end in .apx...But it seems that they need Media Player installed for them to work..!!.
But loads of the good apps are in .Zip format, I know how to extract them .
Then I copy the extracted files to the SD Card, But they will not run or install.
Please can you clever people tell me how to install these unzipped files..
I cannot plug my Tablet into my laptop (No Lead) & I cannot get one, I tried one lead that fitted into the OTG socket on the Tablet & then to my Laptop but the laptop did not recognize it at all.
Do I need a installer on the SD card to run the unzipped files.
It is driving me mad..!!! If it was Windows I would be able to sort it out...

You might try to find out a way to update your tablet to include Google Market. This should allow you to download and install all kinds of apps on it.

Android devices play videos standard from Gallery application. It's both for photos and videos. So, your mp4 video files should play there.

Otherwise, you are looking for another video player application in apk file format to install from SD card. Good universal video players include MoboPlayer and VitalPlayer.

Many thanks for the info.
Just to say that I have figured it all out now..
I bought this 10.2" Zenithink second hand & when I got it I found that most of the apps that should be on it where deleted.. like android Market..Video Player..The browser..MP3 Player & so on (No manual or Cd)
I managed ti install Android Market & the rest was easy.
I just did not realised that the only to install new apps was to download the from the Tablet PC..
I was assuming that you had to link it to my PC like I used to with my Dell PDA.
I will have to keep a look out for a Windows 7 Tablet PC..

First rip the movie from DVD to PC hard disk with DVD Fab.
Then use Handbrake to convert it to MP4 video.
