No more access to my Droid's mp3 and photos.

I apologize in advance for my newbieness, but I couldn't find a thread that fit my problem. In short I own a Motorola Droid Turbo and just recently I have been unable to access my mp3 playlist or my photos for upload to my computer. I can see the phone but it says in so many words: there are "no files"... Has there been a recent upgrade that prevents this?

When plugging the phone in try pulling down the notification bar and selecting USB options and pick transfer files and wait for the phone to reconnect. Now see if your files appear ?

Through a USB cable from phone to computer. I would call up "This PC" (Windows 10) and the phone icon would appear with all the other drives on the PC. When I clicked on the icon all the different folders would appear including "music". Now I get a message saying this folder is empty, or words to that effect..

I've never tried accessing the phone using a browser. Always directly through the Win 10 file explorer. I wouldn't know the procedure anyway. Directions? (I use Firefox).

You are talking to a tech disadvantaged person here. Notification bar on phone? Computer?

If you swipe down from the top of your phone once plugged into your computer you should see USB options appear, tap on it and choose Transfer Files. Your computer will quickly disconnect and reconnect your phone (a series of beeps will be heard from your PC) and your files should appear in windows.
