Help no more music????

hi all - i am going mad with this problem..

i have the tab 10.1 and one of the rare 5inch tabs.. i used Kies (yes yes i know!!) and tried ot sync all my music files between both devices and my desktop computer running windows 8.1..

I ended up with duplicate files so deleted all music from both samsung devices, worked on my desktop to remove all duplicate mp3's and other junk, and when i transferred all the music files back to the devices the Tab 10.1 music player will no recognise the files???

no matter what directory I put the mp3's in, the music player will not see them..

if I go into the directory under music, all my files are there, and i can play them with the music player, however, only one at a time as i select them each time..

so no more playlists.. nothing... no matter what music player I have downloaded from the playstore, NONE of them see any of my music files - even those players that allows you to direct to specific folders.. it simply says - folder empty??

help please!!!

the 5inch tab sees the files like it always did and i can play with the music player like i always did.. just the 10.1 had gone belly up with music files..??

If you're using Google Play Music - I've had similar issues with it. Try another MP3 player
 
thanks, but I have tried a number of different music players - none of the see the mp3 files in the "music" folder..

thats why I think this is a Android problem , not a music app problem.

do you still have a copy of your music files on your PC?
